Omnicom agencies take shape in India
Omnicom and IPG have merged to create a new #2 advertising network in India, with an estimated Rs 25,000 crore in annual billing. The creative business has been unified under Omnicom Advertising India (OAI) and will be led by Aditya Kanthy as president and MD. Prasoon Joshi will be the chairman of OAI. Omnicom will also have a strong presence in media, with Kartik Sharma as CEO of Omnicom Media
