India’s first Hydrogen Train likely to hit tracks on July 17 –
India's first hydrogen-powered train will be launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 17 from Jind in Haryana. The train will run on the Jind-Sonipat route at speeds of 75-120 kmph and can accommodate 2,600 passengers. The Indian Railways plans to introduce 35 more hydrogen trains and is working on expanding this eco-friendly mode of transportation.
