Telecommunications and networking company Ericsson mapped the demands and it has released the latest 5G trends report that aims to highlight consumers demands or expectations from 5G. The survey was done of 14,000 iPhone and Android users who represent 800 million people across the world. The survey revealed that 44 per cent of smartphone users worldwide are willing to pay for 5G enabled services, but they demand an end to payments for each gigabyte consumed in the 5G future. Ericsson’s survey is looking to throw light on the ways telecom operators must fulfill demands to boost 5G in near future not in isolation as consumers are demanding changes.
