Sgnl wristband: In one of the unique products launched at CES 2018. This wearable product lets you hear phone calls through your fingers. Basically a wristband-slash-watch strap, Sgnl wristband lets your fingers be the phone receiver. The band has to be paired with a phone in order to listen to the callers only by touching your finger to your ear. How this works is by transferring the vibrations your wrist to your fingertip. Belt with airbags: Designed for elderly, this unique product protects the user from accidental falls. However, this protection comes at a whopping cost of $800. From a company called Helite, Hip’Air is basically an overstuffed belt but it has sensors that are able to sense when you’re about to fall. Smart brake light for cyclists: Safety seems to be the top priority for the tech companies at CES this year. In the interest of the bikers and skaters, a French startup called Cosmo Connected has a solution. They have come up with a smart light which can be attached to the rear end of your cycle. A lamp that beams internet: Named as 'My Li-Fi', this product lets you get internet wirelessly using a lamp and a dongle that plugs into your computer’s USB port. The maximum speed it can fetch is at 23 Mbps. My Li-Fi costs about $840 and comes with one dongle that means only a single person can use the lamp at a time. The company is looking to raise money on their Kickstarter.
