Kabali box office collections: In a huge thumbs-up for his magnificent marketing strategy combined with a stellar performance, Rajinikanth has powered his movie into an area that movies have not seen. The fact that Kabali managed to get a Rs 200 crore earnings booster shot even before the film was screened speaks volumes about how to derive success in a modern world whose attention span is short and which will ignore you if you don't make a huge and noticeable splash in the media and much of everywhere else. Kabali box office collections: Now, Kabali box office collections have moved past the Rs 650 crore mark. That is way ahead of Aamir Khan's magnificently successful film PK. Aamir had managed to generate as much as Rs 625.65 cr in the 24 days it spent in cinemas. While the content of Aamir's best ever movie is quite 'alien', it did look to take a dig at some illogical religious underpinnings that people have adopted in their lives. Rajinikanth's Kabali too has a few lessons that people can take to heart. Does that mean pictures by mega-heroes that have some lesson/s to impart to the general public works? Perhaps, the jury is still out on that. Kabali box office collections: With such superb Kabali collections to show for it, will this become the strategy for all future movies to adopt? If not they are going to miss a big trick to kick-start their earnings even before a single ticket-paying member of the public has seen it. Surely, a lesson that the Bollywood wallahs should take to the heart. Kabali box office collections: In this instance at least, the southern film industry has beaten the Bollywood biggies with an outstanding campaign. Many say that while Rajinikanth is a big star and this marketing campaign's success was expected, still there is no dearth of superstars in the north. There is a surfeit of them and they make oodles of money for themeslves and the industry with their hard work and enterprise. And though these kinds of marketing drives were initially started years ago by Bollywood, for instance Krissh was one standout effort that is still present in the top-of-the-mind recall, but not much follow-up was done after that by anyone.
