IIT Kharagpur placements: Students of the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur for the first time ever have received more than 200 Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) by top multi-national companies, as reported by news agency PTI. The job offers have been made by companies like Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, Adobe Systems, Wipro among others. (Website)

IIT Kharagpur placements: According to an IIT-KGP spokesperson, MNCs have offered more than 10 PPOs each to the students. The report further stated that this is first of its kind when the students have received PPOs in such a high number.
