AICTE curriculum revamp:The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in a bid to bring changes to the higher education system, released a revamped curriculum for engineering and technical courses across the country on Wednesday. The move by the AICTE has been made to meet the demands of the industry. The new curriculum was launched by Union Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar. While introducing the new curriculum, Javadekar lauded the efforts of the regulatory body and stressed on updating the curriculum every year and carrying out reforms as per the needs of the industry.
IISc Bangalore Admission 2018: The examination dates for admission to Post Graduate degree programmes like MTech, MDes and M Mgt have been released by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) at iisc.ac.in. The online registration process for Master of Technology, Master of Design and Master of Management will begin from February 1. NEET PG 2018 result: The scores of the National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (NEET) Post Graduate examination were released by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) yesterday at neetpg.nbe.edu.in. Candidates who appeared for the exam and have still not checked their results can visit the official website to check the same. Along with the results, NBE has also released the cut-offs for the various categories needed by the candidates to pass the entrance test.
CBSE UGC NET 2018 notification: The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the official notification for the National Eligibility Test (NET) 2018 at cbsenet.nic.in. Candidates who wish to apply for the same can visit the official website now and check the notification. According to the released notification, “It is notified that CBSE will conduct the next UGC-NET for Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor on 08th July, 2018 (Sunday).” It adds that, “The candidates who desire to appear in the test may see the detailed notification available on the website http://cbsenet.nic.in from 01st February, 2018. The candidates are required to apply online from 06th March, 2018. The last date for applying online is 05th April, 2018 and fee can be paid up to 06th April, 2018.”
