Raksha Bandhan is celebrated across India on a full moon day of the Hindu calendar in the month of Shravana. This year, it is being celebrated on August 7. Women across the country are tying rakhis not only to their brothers but also on the wrist of men, who secure the boundaries of the nation so that others can peacefully sleep in the comfort of their homes.
