HPBOSE 12th Result 2016: For all those students who have been eagerly looking forward to find out how they fared in this most important examination, the wait is finally over as the authorities have announced the result today and students can log onto the official website hpbose.org. The HPBOSE 12th Result 2016 has been declared within a record 25 days, with 78.93 per cent students clearing the test, up by nearly 15 per cent from last year. The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, Dharamshala (HPBOSE) Chairman Balbir Tegta said as many as 1,01,104 candidates appeared in the examinations, of whom 79,411 passed while 14,299 were placed in compartment. The pass percentage was 78.93 per cent against 64.64 per cent in 2015. Rahul Sharma of Dharrubal, Mandi and Roshan Lal of Arki, Solan topped in Arts section by securing 471 out of 500 marks. Tammanna Koushal of Dharamshala topped in Commerce scoring 482 marks and Suvrat Sharma of Hamirpur came first in Science bagging 492 marks. (Express Photo)

HPBOSE 12th Result 2016: Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh congratulated the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, Dharamshala (HPBOSE) for declaring the results within 25 days and said the better performance was due to the maintenance of high standard of education by the government in schools. Board Secretary Shravan Manta said candidates who want to get re-evaluation of their papers done may submit online a sum of Rs 400 as re-evaluation fee per answer sheet and Rs 300 per answer sheet for re-checking by May 9 through school heads. He said off-line applications will not be entertained. The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, Dharamshala (HPBOSE) conducted the examination for class 12th in March, 2016.

CBSE class 12th results 2016: QUESTION 10. Do the marks increase after verification/ re-evaluation? ANSWER: The marks may increase or decrease on verification/ evaluation and the candidate will have to accept the revised result. A new mark-sheet is issued in case of change in marks. The candidate has to surrender the old marks statement. In case of change in marks, the fee is also refunded to the candidate.

PSEB 12th result 2016: Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) result 2016 for class 12th students was regrettably postponed, but was finally declared today on Saturday, 14 May, 2016 at 11 a.m. by the authorities on official websites punjab.indiaresults.com and pseb.ac.in. Students can check their results there now. However, even though PSEB result 2016 12th class was postponed, authorities had released the PSEB 12th result 2016 merit list, later in the evening on Friday (13th May), without actually declaring the results! According to the merit list declared by Punjab School Education Board (PSEB), girls have outshone the boys in Class 12 examination results, with the pass percentage of girls being 84.03 as compared to 71.12 for boys.
