Indian Railways | Fog slows down Rajdhani, Shatabdi; 66 trains cancelled: Moderate to dense fog disrupted rail services on Wednesday leading to cancellation of 66 trains and delay of 16 other Delhi-bound rail services including Rajdhani and Shatbadi expresses. Premier trains including Rajdhani Express coming from Patna, Bhubaneswar, Howrah, Sealdah, Dibrugrah and Kanpur Shatabdi, Howrah Duronto were affected due to bad weather condition. TVS rolls out high-end 200 CC bike priced Rs 89,000: TVS Motors on Wednesday launched its much anticipated Apache RTR 200 motorbike, with a starting price of Rs 88,990 ex-showroom Delhi, to improve its market share in the premium segment. The company also rolled out its refurbished Victor on the occasion. Addressing a press conference, Chairman of TVS Motor Company Venu Srinivasan said the launch of the two motorcycles was 'significant' for the company as it aimed to improve its market share in the two-wheeler industry. People in Delhi can pay water bills from Mobikwik wallet: Mobile wallet firm MobiKwik on Wednesday announced a tie-up with Delhi Jal Board (DJB) that will enable people in Delhi to pay water bills through their mobiles. "It is our proven credentials as a user-friendly mobile wallet based on a robust technology platform that made Delhi Jal Board choose us as a partner in its digital journey," MobiKwik Founder CEO Bipin Preet Singh said in a statement. Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal will officially launch the Delhi Jal Board mobile application tomorrow after which this service will be operational, the statement said.

Titan launches smartwatch Juxt: Leading watchmaker Titan on Wednesday entered the wearable technology segment with the launch of its smartwatch Juxt and is introducing it in international markets including the US, the UK and Canada. Juxt is launched in collaboration with global technology giant HP, and Titan will sell the smartwatch in the international markets through HP's distribution network. "We are selling Juxt in the US, the UK and Canada through HP's distribution network, and in the next one year we will launch it in five or six more countries outside India," Bhaskar Bhat, managing director of Titan Company said here. Google offers virtual reality tour of Buckingham Palace: The royal corridors of Buckingham Palace, Queen Elizabeth II's home, which is usually the preserve of paying visitors or guests, can now be seen through a new virtual reality tour. The queen's primary residence can be accessed via a new video uploaded on the 'British Monarchy YouTube Channel' as part of a larger Google Expeditions Pioneer programme. 6. Chocolate wars: Nestle loses bid to trademark KitKat shape: Nestle has lost a long-running court battle to trademark the four-finger shape of its KitKat chocolate bar in Britain. The food giant first tried to register the trademark in 2010, but the application was opposed by rival chocolate maker Cadbury U.K. Ltd. The case was previously dismissed by other courts including the European Court of Justice. Britain's High Court on Wednesday upheld those decisions, ruling that the shape of a KitKat bar has not "acquired a distinctive character" enough to satisfy trademark requirements. 7. India Post opens exclusive counters for eBay: India Post has opened an exclusive counters at the business post centres in Gurgaon and Faridabad for eBay India sellers. "The counter for eBay sellers at Gurgaon and Faridabad business post center will be exclusive for them to send their products through speed post, registered post or any other service they wish to opt for in both the cities," India Post Master General Gurgaon and Faridabad Umesh Verma said in a statement. Starting on Wednesday, eBay sellers can dispatch both domestic and international parcels from eBay's special counter at Phase-V, UdyogVihar in Gurgaon and NIT Faridabad Post Office, eBay said in a statement. Wal-Mart to give pay raises to most of its workers: Most of Wal-Mart's US employees will get raises as part of the world's largest retailer's previously announced commitment to invest in its workforce. Wal-Mart, which announced in October that it would invest USD 2.7 billion in its workforce over two years, said more than 1.2 million US hourly workers will receive pay increases. The company, which has 1.4 million US workers, also will provide basic short-term disability at no cost to full-time hourly workers and allow workers to accrue paid time off as they earn it. RBI asks banks to stop Rs 1,000 notes without security thread: The RBI on Wednesday said it has received complaints about notes of Rs 1,000 denomination without the security thread being in circulation and has asked banks not to issue them in case these are found. "We have received complaints regarding banknotes in the denomination of Rs 1,000 printed by Currency Note Press, Nashik, on the paper (without security thread) supplied by Security Paper Mill (Hoshangabad)," an RBI spokesperson said. The Reserve Bank has informed all the banks in Mumbai region not to issue such notes if found in stock and to provide exchange value to the customer who approaches with such a note, if it is otherwise genuine. Ford launches all-new Endeavour at Rs 24.75 lakh onwards: Ford India on Wednesday launched an all-new premium SUV Endeavour, build on a completely new platform, in two variants — 2.2 litre and 3.2 litre engines — with an industry-first feature of airbags for the knees. The models are priced in the range of Rs 24.75 lakh to Rs 27.7 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai), which is marginally cheaper than its immediate competition — Fortuner from the Japanese carmaker Toyota, which is also the industry leader.
