Bernard Tomic has regrouped to get his Australian Open 2016 campaign off to an impressive start on Tuesday night, rebounding from a first-set loss and a fourth-set delay after a fan suffered a seizure in the crowd. The top-ranked Australian posted a 6-7(4) 6-4 6-4 6-4 victory over the big-serving Denis Istomin of Uzbekistan, but it was a 15-minute postponement of play during the opening game of the fourth set which had both players concerned.(AP)

10. Czech qualifier Radek Stepanek has become the oldest man to win a match at the Australian Open in more than 38 years. Stepanek, who is 37 years and 65 days old, defeated Tatsuma Ito of Japan 6-4, 6-3, 6-7 (5), 6-2 in 3 hours, 16 minutes Tuesday to advance to the second round.(AP)
