'Wazir' box office collections: Wazir may have been able to generate quite a bit of interest surrounding its rather dark story, but the movie was not promoted much in the run up to its release leading to most theatres not getting filled up and the result is plain to see at the B.O. – the multiplexes saw good attendance though. 'Wazir' box office collections: The film has had virtually no competition and still it could not really move the B.O. much. In fact, there is no big release until 22 January and among the previous releases it is only Shah Rukh Khan's Dilwale and Deepika Padukone's Bajirao Mastani that are giving competition to it – if you can call it that since both have been in theatres for almost a month now. Hence, the Big B and Farhan starrer, which initially looked to have a clear advantage at the box office, did not manage to translate that into a megahit status. (PTI)

'Wazir' box office collections: 'Wazir' reviews were not great and barring die-hard fans few people ventured into theatres to check out Big B's latest, even though this one was a thriller. 'Wazir' which also stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Neil Nitin Mukesh and John Abraham among others, tells the story of two unusual friends – a paralysed chess grandmaster (Amitabh) and a grief stricken ATS officer (Farhan).
