The just concluded Flipkart ‘Big Billion Days’ sale saw a business turnover of over $300 million in gross merchandise volume (GMV), which was three times bigger than last year with the participation of 40,000 sellers and millions of visitors. The big billion sale between October 13 and 17, is an annual event of Flipkart which witness deep discounts across product categories was termed as a massive success with customers, sellers lapping up the whole opportunity, said Ankit Nagori, chief business officer (CBO) of the e-commerce major.

Flipkart ‘Big Billion Days’ sale: The horizontal e-commerce player in preparation for the big billion sale this year increased its logistics footprint and added four more warehouses while doubling the number of field agents.
