
Mercedes-Benz is on a launch spree and after a lot of speculation, rumours and spy shots, the luxury car major has unveiled the C-Class Coupe. 1. Mercedes C Class Coupe: Basic Look The Mercedes C Class Coupe has a striking resemblance to the S-Class Coupe, in fact, it looks like a mini S-Class. It is longer by 95mm, wider by 40mm, has a bigger wheelbase by 80mm and is definitely more spacious from the inside than the model it is going to replace. 2. Mercedes C Class Coupe: Launch It is said that <a href="http://www.cardekho.com/carmodels/Mercedes-Benz/Mercedes-Benz_New_C-Class"><strong>Mercedes Benz C Class Coupe</strong></a> will be launched in Europe somewhere in December this year and we can expect a global launch including India somewhere in 2016. 3. Mercedes C Class Coupe: Exterior The front exterior has a lot of take off from the elder sibling C Class sedan with the signature Mercedes front grille. The rear portion looks a lot like the S Class. The side profile makes it distinctive and different from any other Mercedes car with neat and simple lines around the shoulder. The roof has an elongated droop which extends beyond the rear wheels, but all in all, it is an elegant looking vehicle just like C Class and the S Class. (Image: Mercedes-Benz; Text: CarDekho)

4. Mercedes C Class Coupe: Interior Inside the cabin, there are lot of hints of it taking majority of its specs from C-Class saloon, but with its own unique taste. The front row feature sports seats and the headrests are integrated into the seats. The rear seats are two individual seats and are not combined as one. There is the familiar floating screen and infotainment at the front and a Bluetooth enabled system which will connect automatically when the phone rings or the driver wants to play music through the phone. There is a standard automatic belt feeder, like the one found in E-Class coupe. 5. Mercedes C Class Coupe: Engine For the European markets, Mercedes will be launching this car with a 1.6 litre engine with 156PS power for the C180 version. For C200 version, a 2.0 litre engine will be there that produces power output of 184PS. The C250 and C300 versions will too get a 2.0 litre engine but with power of 211PS and 245PS respectively. 6. Mercedes C Class Coupe: Safety As for safety, the German car doesn't disappoint at all. It features Attention Assist Function which warns the driver when the car senses his drowsy or inattentiveness. The car has a new Collision Prevention Assist, which brakes automatically up to the speed of 124mph coupled with standard Adaptive Brake Assist. An optional feature of Distronic Plus System has been installed which will help steer the vehicle in its lane up to the speed of 124mph. The Pre-Safe brakes detect the pedestrians on the road and apply brakes automatically in case the driver fails to do so. BAS Plus Brake Assist detects crossing traffic.
