Mahindra and Mahindra: Stocks of the company closed 5.44 per cent down at Rs 1218.90 after the Supreme Court banned registering of new diesel SUVs and luxury cars with an engine capacity of over 2000 CC in Delhi to curb air pollution.
Thomas Cook: Travel firm Thomas Cook (India) shares closed 1.45 per cent up at Rs 202.45 after the company said that it has received approval from competition watchdog CCI for its acquisition of rival Kuoni Travel.
Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd(BHEL): Stocks of the company were trading 2.17 per cent up at Rs 169.70 (10.06 am) after it commissioned a 500 mw thermal power plant in West Bengal. The scrip later closed 1.17 per cent up at Rs 168.05.
