The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty opened on a positive note on Wednesday tracking global cues. At 9.32 am, Sensex was up 164.53 points at 28,236.46. Similarly, Nifty was up 51.15 points at 8,568.05 during the same time.

Adani Enterprises: The stocks of the Adani Enterprises will be in focus after the company said that it is in talks with the world’s largest contract manufacturer Foxconn to form a joint venture (JV), which is likely to make iconic Apple iPhones in India.
Bharti Airtel: Telecom major Bharti Airtel announced its first quarter results on Tuesday after the markets closed. The company posted about 40 per cent jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 1,554.3 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2015-16, on account of sale of mobile tower assets and boom in data usage. It had posted net profit of Rs 1,108.5 crore in the April-June quarter of last fiscal, 2014-15.
Tata Steel: Tata Steel has completed the move of incorporating its Long Products Europe (LPE) division into a new standalone wholly-owned subsidiary within its European operations to create a sustainable future.
DLF: The realty major is seeking shareholders’ approval to create charge, lien or pledge on its over 50 per cent shares in three subsidiaries, which holds rental commercial assets, for raising up to Rs 7,500 crore.
Nestle: In a major boost to Nestle India, FSSAI-approved laboratory of Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI) has found Maggi noodles to be in compliance with the country’s food safety standards.
Torrent pharma: The Electricity generator announced its results after market hours on Tuesday. The company’s consolidated net profit for the first quarter ended June 30, 2015-16, has more than doubled to Rs 173.48 crore.
