The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty snapped six sessions of gains on Tuesday as investors booked profits amid weak Asian cues. Sensex slumped 111.89 points to end at 27,166.87, while Nifty ended 34.75 points down to 8,335.95.

Hindustan Construction Company (HCC): Shares of infrastructure major closed 10.29 per cent up at Rs 23.05 after after the company said its JV with a Russian firm has won a Rs 2,523-crore order from Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRCL).
Dish TV: Stocks of the company created buzz after a CNBC TV report said that the company is in talks to buy Videocon DTH. Lenders have suggested sale of Videocon DTH to Dish TV. At 12.09 pm, Dish TV stocks were trading 1.10 per cent up at Rs 101.35. However, shares of Dish TV shares closed 1.60 per cent down at Rs 98.65.
JP Associates and UltraTech Cement: Jaiprakash Associates: Stocks of the company closed 27.97 per cent up at Rs 11.62 after the debt-ridden Jaypee Group on Monday hiked the sale value of 21.2 million tonne per annum (MTPA) cement assets to Aditya Birla Group firm Ultratech to Rs 16,189 crore. Stocks of UltraTech Cement closed 1.16 per cent down at Rs 3371.20.
Dhanlaxmi Bank Limited: Stocks of company ended 2.50 per cent up at Rs 24.60 after it said it will raise Rs 200 crore through issuance of equity shares on preferential basis. The decision was taken at the bank’s board meeting which was held on Monday.
Coal India: Stocks of the company ended 1.35 per cent up at Rs 321.75 after it said it will consider a proposal for buyback of equity shares on July 11, 2016.
Fertiliser stocks: Stocks of fertiliser companies like Chambal Fertlisers and Chemicals, Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemcials Corporation and Fertilizers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd were trading 2.57 per cent, 1.29 per cent and 1.75 per cent down at Rs 68.35, Rs 168.00 and Rs 25.30 (9.36 am) after the retail prices of non-urea fertilisers including DAP have been slashed by up to Rs 5,000/tonne following drop in global prices of raw materials.
