The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty surged for third day in a row on Thursday as the post-Budget rally continued following creation of fresh bets coupled with a fresh spell of foreign fund inflows. Sensex closed 364 points up at 24606, while Nifty 50 index settled 106.75 points up at 7,475.60.

Tata Motors: Share price of the company ended 6.10 per cent up at Rs 336.35 after the company’s arm Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) reported a strong 25 per cent jump in US sales at 7,929 units in February 2016 against 6,327 units a year earlier.
ONGC and RIL: Share price of bithe the companies surged after the government said that it plans to increase natural gas price by about 60 per cent for underdeveloped gas discoveries in difficult areas. Share price of ONGC closed 1.31 per cent up at Rs 197.55., while Reliance Industries scrip settled 1.13 per cent up at Rs 1012.55.
