PC Jeweller’s shares on Monday climbed almost 6 per cent after the company reported an increase of 34 per cent in its standalone net profit for the December quarter.
Shares of the company surged 5.68 per cent to settle at Rs 381.65 on BSE. During the day, it gained 8.51 per cent to Rs 391.90.
At NSE, the stock closed with gains up to 5.91 per cent at Rs 384.
PC Jeweller on Sunday reported an increase of 34 per cent in its standalone net profit at Rs 146 crore for the December quarter.
The company posted a net profit of Rs 109 crore in the same period a year ago.
The total income of the company increased 19.7 per cent to Rs 2,181 crore, from Rs 1,822 crore a year ago.
Meanwhile, in the broader market, the benchmark BSE Sensex ended 50.29 points up at 24,485.95.
