The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty ended flat, skidding from a 7-month high hit on Friday on account of selling in frontline blue chip counters. Sensex closed almost flat at 26,843, while Nifty index settled 1.85 points up at 8220.80.

HUL: Stocks of the FMCG major closed 1.86 per cent up at Rs 884.90 after the company said it will split its Foods and Refreshments (F&R) business into two separate units in line with its global category structure.
NMDC: Shares of the company ended 4.16 per cent up at Rs 90.05 after its Board of Directors will meet next week to consider a proposal of buyback of company’s shares. The state-run firm, however did not elaborate upon the number of shares that it is planning to buyback.
Idea Cellular: Stocks of the company ended 9.97 per cent down at Rs 106.55 on reports that private equity firm Providence Equity Partners will sell about half its stake in Idea via a unit for up to Rs 1,400 crore.
