National Buildings Construction Corporation Limited (NBCC): Share price of the company ended 10.47 per cent up at Rs 215.30. Stock of state-owned construction firm will remain in limelight on Thursday because of following reasons:
1. NBCC has bagged government’s project of redeveloping General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA) colonies in Sarojini Nagar, Netaji Nagar, Nauroji Nagar. The Union Cabinet on Tuesday approved the redevelopment of seven General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA) colonies in Sarojini Nagar, Netaji Nagar, Nauroji Nagar through National Buildings Construction Corporation Limited (NBCC) and in Kasturba Nagar, Thyagraj Nagar, Srinivaspuri and Mohammadpur through Central Public Works Department (CPWD) to replace the existing housing stock.
2. NBCC on Tuesday signed an MoU with Gremound Engineering, a Hungarian company for partnership in introducing new construction technology in India for implementation of mass housing projects in the country.
3. State-owned construction firm NBCC on Tuesday said it has bagged projects worth Rs 587.47 crore in June.
