The maker of ‘The Kerala Story’ movie – Sunshine Pictures – debuts on a firm note. The stock changed hands in the secondary markets for the first time at Rs 394 on the BSE, which is a premium of 9.44% to the issue price.  

The company had set the issue price at Rs 360 per equity share. 

The company raised Rs 282.14 crores via a combination of 0.48 crore fresh shares amounting to Rs 172.80 crores and an offer for sale of 0.30 crore shares aggregating to Rs 109.34 crores.

The IPO bidding opened for subscription on August 18 and closed on August 20. The allotment for the IPO shares was finalised on August 21.

Sunshine Pictures IPO: Lot size

A retail applicant had to file for at least one lot that contains 41 shares. The minimum amount of investment required by an individual investor was Rs 14,760 at the issue price.

GYR Capital Advisors was the book-running lead manager of the issue, and Bigshare Services worked as the registrar for the IPO.
