Stocks to watch today, January 20, 2026

Tata Capital

Tata Capital reported a solid performance for Q3FY26. Net profit rose 19.7% quarter-on-quarter to Rs 790 crore, while net interest income jumped 44% to Rs 2,541 crore.

CEAT

Tyre maker CEAT posted a strong set of numbers for the December quarter. Net profit rose 60.3% year-on-year to Rs 155.7 crore from Rs 97.1 crore last year. Revenue increased 26% to Rs 4,157 crore. Operating profit also improved, with earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation rising to Rs 563.3 crore, while margins expanded to 13.5% from 10.3% a year ago.

Oberoi Realty

Real estate developer Oberoi Realty recorded a marginal rise in profit for the third quarter of financial year 2026. Net profit increased 0.7% year-on-year to Rs 622.6 crore, while revenue grew 5.8% to Rs 1,492.6 crore. Operating profit remained flat at Rs 856 crore, and margins narrowed due to higher costs during the quarter.

Ola Electric

Electric vehicle maker Ola Electric announced the appointment of Deepak Rastogi as its Chief Financial Officer with effect from January 20, 2026. He will also be part of the senior management team and will be classified as a Key Managerial Personnel. The company said all required regulatory disclosures have been completed as per Securities and Exchange Board of India guidelines.

Adani Power

Adani Power received a major legal relief after the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, Delhi, upheld its Rs 4,000 crore resolution plan for Vidarbha Industries Power Limited. The tribunal dismissed appeals filed by Western Coalfields Limited and certain employees, thereby confirming the earlier approval granted by the National Company Law Tribunal, Mumbai Bench.

ACME Solar

ACME Solar Holdings said it has commissioned an additional 12 megawatts of wind power capacity through its subsidiary, ACME Eco Clean Energy Private Limited, in Surendranagar, Gujarat. With this addition, the project’s operational capacity has increased to 68 megawatts out of the planned 100 megawatts.

Deepak Nitrite

Deepak Chem Tech, a wholly owned subsidiary of Deepak Nitrite, has commissioned a nitration and second hydrogenation plant at Dahej in Gujarat’s Bharuch district. The facility became operational on January 11 and adds to the group’s specialty chemical manufacturing capacity.

Bansal Wire

Bansal Wire Industries reported stable performance in the December quarter. Net profit rose 3.8% year-on-year to Rs 43.2 crore, while revenue increased 11.4% to Rs 1,029 crore. Operating profit improved to Rs 85.5 crore.
