Coriander futures declined on NCDEX as participants trimmed their holdings, driven by sluggish demand in the domestic spot market.

Coriander futures declined on NCDEX as participants trimmed their holdings, driven by sluggish demand in the domestic spot market. Besides, sufficient stocks position due to better crop this year versus last year, also fuelled the downtrend.

The contract for June delivery was trading at Rs 6871, down by 0.43% or Rs 30 from its previous closing of Rs 6901. The open interest of the contract stood at 12960 lots.

The contract for July delivery was trading at Rs 6,910, down by 0.4% or Rs 28 from its previous closing of Rs 6938. The open interest of the contract stood at 7830 lots on NCDEX.
