Italian luxury jewellery maker Bulgari re-enters India, hopes to cash in on country’s penchant for gold and gemstones
Italian jewellery maker Bulgari is back in India with its collection of exquisite jewellery studded with brightly coloured gemstones. A huge market for jewellery, especially gold, India is a lucrative destination for the brand, which exited the country in 2011, but continued to sell watches and fragrances through franchisees. Now that the brand has made its entry again, it brings to India all its signature collections, including the bestseller Serpenti, Monete, B.Zero1, Parentesi, Diva, Mvsa, etc. Launching at the DLF Emporio in Delhi, the brand hopes to open around 10 stores across the country.
