BSE to suspend trading in 17 cos from Aug 26

BSE has ordered suspension of trading in shares of 17 firms, including Raj Irrigation Pipes & Fittings and Kohinoor Broadcasting Corporation, from August 26 until further notice.

Leading stock exchange BSE has ordered suspension of trading in shares of 17 firms, including Raj Irrigation Pipes & Fittings and Kohinoor Broadcasting Corporation, from August 26 until further notice.

The move is aimed at ensuring safety of investors in the capital market.

“Based on the parameters provided by Sebi and under provisions of rules, bye-laws and regulation of the exchange, as an interim preventive and remedial measure and to maintain orderly development in the securities market, trading in the securities of the (17) companies will be suspended with effect from August 26, 2015 until further notice,” BSE said.

Apart from Raj Irrigation Pipes & Fittings and Kohinoor Broadcasting Corp, trading would be suspended in Aagam Capital, Alps Motor Finance, Genus Commu Trade, Dynamic Microsteppers, RFL International, Mefcom Agro Industries and SVC Resource among others.
