Sanjiv Kapoor, chief strategy and commercial offer, Vistara, said, “Kolkata has played an important role in Vistara’s growth, and the performance of our flights and market acceptance have grown strongly since we started flying to Kolkata last year. We are delighted to add a third daily flight during the festive season between Delhi and Kolkata, giving travellers even more options.”
Kapoor added, “This is the happiest time of the year for every Bengali and for all Kolkatans, and all of us at Vistara are equally excited about Durga Puja. Authnetic Bengali cuisine is a connoiseur’s delight during this festive season. We are pleased to serve our customers a thoughtfully curated Durga Puja special inflight menu that features their favourite preparations. We want our customers to have a feast on our flights just as they would in their homes during this special festive season. And of course, at Vistara meals are included in the ticket price.”
