Travel planning and booking website TripAdvisor has announced the winners of its Travellers’ Choice awards for Amusement Parks and Water Parks. Award winners were determined using an algorithm that took into account the quantity and quality of reviews and ratings for amusement parks and water parks worldwide, gathered over a 12-month period.

Nikhil Ganju, country manager, TripAdvisor India, said, “TripAdvisor is just in time with the Travellers’ Choice awards for Amusement and Water Parks, as summer wouldn’t be complete without a trip to these attractions. Each is unique with an array of rollercoaster rides, indoor shows and water rides. TripAdvisor enables travellers looking for value to book hotels in these popular spots in July when the average rate is INR 3,728, which is 20 per cent less than peak summer months.”
