Qatar Airways today launched a limited-period global sales offer of free companion travel for business class passengers across most of its network.

The promotion, called ‘Double the Luxury’ offer, would be up for sale till October 31 and travel until March 31 next year to select destinations across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas, a statement by the Gulf carrier said.

Under the offer, passengers booking a business class ticket would receive a second business class ticket for free for their travelling companion, though under certain terms and conditions which can be reviewed during booking, it said.

The airline’s Vice President (Indian Subcontinent) Ihab Sorial said the offer would “enable our business class customers to take advantage of a fantastic two-for-one opportunity with our award-winning business class service.”

Qatar Airways customers from India can avail of this offer by visiting its sales offices, its travel agents or the website.

The offer would also allow the carrier’s Frequent Flyer members to earn 50 per cent bonus miles on their travel by simply registering at least 24 hours before their travel, the statement said.
