NASA has released two web applications that will allow the users to explore Mars.

NASA has released two web applications that will allow the users to explore Mars.

According to the Engadget, the NASA apps give the users a closer look at the surface of Mars. Mars Trek, like Google Earth, with help from 50 years of NASA exploration data over an interactive 3D globe. It includes 3D and 2D views, video-game inspired controls and bookmarks showing off points of interest from previous NASA missions.

Also, the users can take the controls of NASA’s latest Mars rover with Experience Curiosity, which is a Curiosity simulator with manual drive controls, multiple camera view angles and a guided tour of both the rover itself and narrated lessons about the area of Mars it explored.

The apps are free to use and can are so designed that they can work in any browser.
