A transgender named Sanjana Singh has been appointed as a Personal Secretary of the Director of Madhya Pradesh Social Justice and Disabled Welfare Department. This is for the first time in the history of the state that a transgender has got a government job. Singh said, \u201cThis is a very good opportunity for the transgender community as we can connect directly with the society now. I feel this is a very good start by Director Krishna Gopal Tiwari and it will help other people in our community with more such opportunities.\u201d Watch ANI Video: Sanjana is known for actively participating in social events in Bhopal and has also been made a legal volunteer of the District Legal Authority. Sanjana is also a member of the Lok Adalat. In the Adalat she will hear the pending cases along with the judge. According to a report in Deccan Herald, Sanjana was just 15 when she joined the Transgender Community. Till class12th, her sexuality was hidden from the society by her parents but soon people came to know about it and she was forced to join the community. Sanjana says it was her dream to create about among transgender community to join the mainstream society. "Today, I have found my place in the society again," Sanaja told DH.
