Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad has tested positive for COVID-19. Azad informed this on Twitter and requested all those who had come in contact with him in the last few days to follow the protocol. “I have tested positive for COVID-19. I am in home quarantine. Those who came in contact with me in last few days may kindly follow the protocol,” Azad tweeted.

Earlier senior Congress leaders Ahmed Patel, Motilal Vora and Abhishek Singhvi had tested positive for coronavirus. While Singhvi has recovered, other leaders are still under treatment. Singhvi had tested positive in June and was asymptomatic.

On October 1, Ahmed Patel announced that he had tested positive for Covid19. “I request all those who came in close contact with me recently, to self isolate,” he had tweeted.
