Since its launch for iOS, Cleartrip has been committed to offer iOS users the best travel app experience possible on iOS devices. This translated into a series of firsts when it came to iOS – from being the first ones to support Passbook on iOS, to the first ones to redesign the app for iOS 7, and the first travel app in India to have an universal app for iPhone and iPad.
Another first to that list is Cleartrip’s app for Apple Watch which can be enabled through the Watch app on your iPhone. The idea with the Watch app is to give users the information they need, when they need it, in the most lightweight manner possible. Opening the Cleartrip app on the Apple Watch will show travellers a concise list of all their upcoming flights.
Cleartrip for Apple Watch also supports glances, to give contextual, time-sensitive information just when it is needed. The Cleartrip glance shows the next upcoming trip up until 24 hours before departure. And when there is just 24 hours to the flight’s departure, the glance changes to show the flight number, current flight status and updated departure time.
Cleartrip for Apple Watch also supports notifications, with a choice to be notified on the Apple Watch if a flight is delayed, rescheduled or cancelled by the airline.
