As the firm claims, it has listed over 1,18,000 hotels across the world to choose from and provides flights to anywhere. It also offers coupons for discounts on flight bookings. With over 10 million downloads, it is one of the most used travel apps.
2. Goibibo
Goibibo is part of the ibibo Group that also runs bus ticket booking platform redBus. Like MakeMyTrip, the app also helps in booking hotels, flights and buses. It provides discounts for combo bookings – if flight and hotel are booked using the app. This the company claims helps in saving some penny that you can spend for shopping during your trip.
3. Yatra
Yatra.com app provides Rs 600 cash back on the first booking using its coupon code. Like other aggregators, it offers booking of flights, hotels, buses and holiday deals. It also offers last minute deals in which one can save upto 50%, claims the travel planner. Yatra claims to have offered deals on over 40,000 domestic hotels and 4,30,000 international hotels.

With over 100 millions download on Google playstore, TripAdvisor claims to offer advice from millions of travellers. The app provides a wide variety of travel choices. It offers features like booking tools that check hundreds of websites to find hotels at good prices. TripAdvisor reaches to 350 million unique monthly visitors and 320 million reviews and opinions covering more than 6.2 million accommodations, restaurants and attractions, claims the company.
5. KAYAK
Besides flights, hotels and travel deals, Kayak additionaly gives the option to rent cars. “Unlike most other booking sites that sell their own inventory, we’re a travel tool that doesn’t sell anything. We search other travel sites for you and show their offer in the display – so you can easily compare and filter the results.
