Education-technology company Careers360 has announced a major beefing up of its top management team to make its product and technology offerings bigger and better. With various changes in technology offerings as well as student preferences, it is important that EdTech companies keep looking at innovative ways of reaching out to students. Careers360 is an education based portal and is operated by a firm called Pathfinder Publishing. The website offers data enabled and technology driven education products and services. Founded by Maheshwer Peri, the company helps students to make decisions regarding higher education. Careers360 claims that the portal has 15 million monthly visitors on its website, who come there to explore career opportunities based on interests and abilities. Meanwhile, the company has decided to strengthen its top team in order to bolster its offerings.
Arastu Zakia, earlier CEO of CollegeBol has joined as Chief Product Officer. He would be leading the Product, Technology and Design Teams at Careers360 and would work towards strengthening the platform to fulfil the needs of the Student-College-Employer ecosystem. The company offers over 250 products for areas like exam preparation and college recommendations, and it covers more than 17,000 colleges and over 300 courses, Careers360 claimed.
