Xiaomi has rolled out its Redmi Note 15 series, with the Redmi Note 15 Pro and Redmi Note 15 Pro+ made available in Europe and other markets. These two premium mid-range models promise to deliver flagship-level features like 200MP cameras, ultra-large batteries, and top-end durability, building on the reputation for value-packed performance of its predecessors.
The global variants of the Pro and Pro+ differ slightly from their Chinese counterparts, featuring upgraded cameras and optimised charging, while maintaining the focus on robust build quality and long-lasting power. Both phones push forward Xiaomi’s “Redmi Titan Durability” philosophy, including reinforced mid-frames, multi-layer shock absorption, and high-strength motherboards tested for drops from 2.5m heights.
Redmi Note 15 Pro: What it offers
The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G features a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, up to 3,200 nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The camera system includes a 200MP main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 20MP front camera.
A standout feature is the 6,580mAh battery with 45W fast charging, promising all-day usage. The phone boasts IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K dust and water resistance ratings for superior protection.
Pricing in Europe starts at €410 (£350) for the 8GB/256GB variant and goes up to €450 (£400) for the 12GB/512GB model. Xiaomi is yet to announce a price for the Indian market.
Redmi Note 15 Pro+: What it offers
The top-tier Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G shares the 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display specs as the Pro but elevates the performance credentials with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor that promises better overall performance. It also features the 200MP main camera (HPE sensor with 1/1.4″ size, 2x/4x in-sensor zoom, DAG HDR, and advanced AI processing), an 8MP ultrawide, and a 20MP selfie shooter.
The highlight is the 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery (with 10% SiC content) supporting 100W HyperCharge and 22.5W reverse charging. It includes the Xiaomi Surge battery chip for longevity, promising to retain at least 80% capacity after 1,600 cycles (~6 years of typical use).
Durability certifications include IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K ratings, Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and a fiberglass back panel for enhanced impact absorption.
In Europe, the Pro+ starts at €480 (£430) for the 8GB/256GB configuration and reaches €520 (£480) for the 12GB/512GB variant. Some regions offer discounts (e.g., £80 off in certain markets) and trade-in bonuses. Xiaomi is yet to reveal the prices for the Indian market.
Both models run Android 15-based HyperOS 2 with up to 4 major OS upgrades, promising long-term software support. The phones are available in Glacier Blue, Mocha Brown, Mist Purple, Titanium, and Black colourways.
