The news about its launch has been doing the rounds for a long time now. However, new information regarding the new Business app by WhatsApp have come in. While WhatsApp is looking to generate revenue with the Business app, new details surfaced online are giving us a perspective on what it is all about. According to Android Police, businesses will be enabled to manage their personal as well as business accounts easily. Additionally, they can also register their landline numbers in the WhatsApp Business app.
The WhatsApp Business mobile app can be used from a personal as well as a business account on the same smartphone. Also, users can use different phones for the different accounts, and it includes landline numbers too. The Android Police report has shared a WhatsApp Business’ Google Play link. However, only users who have access to the WhatsApp Beta program can see the listing. In order to be a WhatsApp Beta tester, you need to fill out a few forms and wait for it to accept you. You will then also be able to download the APK of the WhatsApp Business app.

According to the documents revealed, WhatsApp will give the business owners to register their business number on the new app. The users can download the Business app on the same phone where they use their personal account, or they can choose to get a different handset. One the user downloads the new app, WhatsApp will ask them to select the most appropriate category, like finance and banking, entertainment, and more.

BookMyShow and GoIbibo are the two popular services that have been testing WhatsApp Business app for almost a month now. Currently, they are using the app to share tickets with their customers. Users will be able to distinguish between a business profile to a personal one, by looking at a ‘blue’ tick.
