After teasing the device on social media for a while, Realme has introduced the Realme P4 Power 5G as the phone that has seen the biggest capacity battery in India. With a 10,001 mAh battery inside, the Realme P4 Power aims to address the battery life concerns that most phones have in the budget and midrange space. Priced aggressively at Rs 25,999, the P4 Power beats every other smartphone in its price segment by a comfortable margin.
The star of the show is the 10,001mAh battery, which is the largest ever fitted to any smartphone we have seen in India yet. Realme is utilising a silicon-carbon anode Titan Battery that offers nearly double the capacity of most smartphones — all while housed in a slim 9.08mm-thick body weighing just 219g. Realme claims up to 2.5 days of typical usage or 18–20 hours of continuous video streaming. The company also claims that the battery has passed rigorous TÜV Rheinland Five-Star Battery Safety Certification (first in the 10,000mAh class) and operates reliably from –30 degrees Celsius to 56 degrees Celsius.
Alongside the battery, the Realme P4 Power also features a fast 80W SuperVOOC fast charging solution that promises a 0-50% recharge in approximately 36 minutes. It can also charge other smartphones and mobile devices at 27W, with its reverse wired charging feature, thus acting as a fast charge capable powerbank.
