OnePlus debut foldable Open is all set to launch in India tomorrow, October 19 during a Mumbai event. This foldable comes as a collaborative effort between OnePlus and its sister company Oppo, both fall under a Chinese BBK Electronics umbrella.
Before the official launch, we’ve been gathering information about the company’s debut foldable smartphone for a few weeks. We revealed detailed specs in July, and YouTuber Michael Fisher’s video added more details. Now, just before the launch, the OnePlus Open was spotted on Geekbench by 91Mobiles, and it has received FCC approval for tomorrow’s release.

Tipster Abhishek Yadav previously estimated the phone’s price at Rs 1,39,999, but this is not official, so it’s recommended to wait for the launch for pricing details.
OnePlus Open: What to Expect
OnePlus debut foldable “Open” is expected to feature a dual-display setup with a 7.82” Fluid AMOLED main display offering 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, along with a 6.31” outer display with a potential 120Hz refresh rate. Tipster Yogesh Brar says that there will be Ceramic Guard Protection on the main display along with 2,800nits peak brightness. He also writes on X that OnePlus has called these displays “ProXDR displays” adding that hopefully, Apple will not be mad.
It might run on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The iconic Alert Slider is seen in images, tailored for the foldable phone’s design. It’s rumoured to have a 4,800mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
Rest all and every detail comes official at the OnePlus Open launch event slated for October 18, i.e., tomorrow in Mumbai.
