OnePlus 15R younger sibling to the OnePlus 15 is confirmed to release on the 17th of December. The OnePlus 15R will be launching alongside the OnePlus Pad Go 2 at the Bengaluru event. Although the pricing has not been confirmed for the OnePlus 15R yet it’s expected to be around Rs.42,999 similar to its predecessor the OnePlus 13R. However other than the pricing everything else is about the device.
OnePlus 15R Processor
The OnePlus 15R will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. However, RAM and Storage variants available on the device are also not known.
OnePlus 15R Battery
OnePlus has announced that the 15R will be including a 7,400 mAh battery. This is the largest battery ever inserted on a OnePlus device, moreover this will surpass the 7,300 mAh battery available in the OnePlus 15. However this less than the expected capacity rumours and leaks were hinting to be which was 8,300mAh. Apart from this the device will also be supporting 80W wired charging.
OnePlus 15R Display
The display panel used in the OnePlus 15 will be the one available in the 15R, which is a 1.5K AMOLED display paired with 165Hz of fast refresh rate. Furthermore the peal brightness has been cranked upto 1800 nits with a capability of dimming to 1 nit making it an LTPO panel. The device will also come with TUV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Care 5.0 certification.
OnePlus 15R Camera
OnePlus has confirmed that the 15R can record 4K video at 120 frames per second. This is a feature previously limited to the flagship OnePlus devices. While sensor details are yet to be disclosed, the handset is expected to offer a dual rear camera system. Other than that the details of the front camera system are also not known.
OnePlus 15R Design
In terms of design, the 15R may measure 8.3mm in thickness and weigh around 215 grams, as for colours, the phone may arrive in Black and a new Green finish.
