A new video leak has surfaced online showing what might be Apple’s upcoming iPhone 18 Pro, offering a first look at potential design tweaks and hardware upgrades well ahead of its expected launch. The footage was shared by well-known tech insider Jon Prosser from Front Page Tech and includes purported renders of the device’s screen, camera, internal components, and even colour choices.

Fresh Front-Panel Look

According to the leaked renders, the most noticeable change on the iPhone 18 Pro’s front isn’t drastic overall shaping but a much smaller front sensor cutout. Apple has used a pill-shaped notch for several years now, yet the video suggests that some Face ID sensors might be moved beneath the screen. This would allow Apple to reduce the size of the visible cutout to a single hole-punch, instead of the larger multi-sensor area seen in current models.

Interestingly, the selfie camera appears in the top-left corner rather than centered  marking a visual departure from previous iPhones if accurate. Even with this shift, the video indicates that Dynamic Island won’t be removed; it will simply relocate alongside the camera cutout in the top-left.

Camera System Enhancements

On the rear, this leak points to what could be a significant camera upgrade. Instead of relying as heavily on software to simulate focus and lighting effects, at least the larger Pro Max model may include a variable-aperture main lens. This design would allow the physical lens to control the amount of light hitting the sensor something that could improve both portrait shots and low-light performance.

Button Refinements and Internal Components

The footage also suggests that Apple might simplify the camera control button, replacing the current capacitive system with a pressure-activated mechanism. This could give photography controls a more satisfying, responsive feel for users who like tactile feedback.

Inside, the iPhone 18 Pro series is expected to switch to Apple’s next-generation A20 Pro chip, which is likely fabricated using TSMC’s 2nm process. Alongside performance gains, Apple may finally adopt its own C2 modem, reducing reliance on outside suppliers for connectivity hardware a step hinted at in multiple leaks.

Display Size, Battery, and Colours

The above mentioned leaks haven’t confirmed all the specifications, just that a 6.3-inch screen is widely expected for the standard Pro model, with the Pro Max likely getting a larger display and a similar bigger battery. The rumoured colour options include burgundy, brown, and purple, which would broaden Apple’s Pro lineup.

Launch Timeline

However, these details are based on early leaks and speculative renders rather than official information. Apple may change plans before final launch. Industry experts are anticipating a September 2026 unveiling for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, aligning with Apple’s usual flagship release schedule.
