Apple is expected to launch its next premium smartphones, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, in September 2026. It is sticking to its long-established autumn launch window. For Indian consumers availability of the Pro series is expected to follow soon after the global debut. With the iPhone 18 Pro series, the company is also rumoured to unveil its first-ever foldable iPhone. All of this is keeping the launch of the standard iPhone model for next year.
While the company has not officially confirmed the details yet, several reports and leaks suggest that these models will bring noticeable improvements in design, performance, and camera features. Apple may also change how it launches iPhones, focusing first on its high-end Pro models.

Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro lineup in fall 2026, with the iPhone 18 Pro likely to start at around Rs 1,35,000 in India, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max could be priced at approximately Rs 1,54,900.

According to reports, the camera system is also expected to get better. The phones may feature a triple camera system. Moreover a 48MP main camera, offering clearer photos, better low-light performance, and improved video recording. These additions would allow users to adjust aperture settings based on lighting conditions and deliver more advanced optical zoom. Resulting in the phones likely appealing to content creators and photography enthusiasts.
Apple could also offer higher storage options, with reports suggesting variants going up to 2TB, making it easier for users to store photos, videos, and apps without worrying about space.
