In financial year 2025-26 Nvidia which is the leading AI chip maker in the world recieved nearly 1900 certified H-1B applications. These applications were covering roles like software engineers, research scientist and product managers. Although the on-paper workforce of the company remains small at around 36,000, the rapid growth of the company has accelerated the stock pice of the company. Interestingly a new report suggests this growth tricks down to employees especially H-1B ones in salaries.
According to Business insider the newly available H-1B visa fillings offer a rare glimpse into how much Nvidia pays its US employees across critical roles.
CEO Jensen involved in compensation decisions!
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has long stressed on the fact that he gets personally involved in compensation decisions. “I review everybody’s compensation up to this day at the end of every cycle,” Huang said on the All-In podcast last July. He also claimed to have “created more billionaires on my management team than any CEO in the world.”
