Google has introduced a free SAT practice test on Gemini in partnership with The Princeton Review. Students can start the test by entering the prompt “I want to take a practice SAT test” on Gemini.

Pichai shared on X that students can now attempt full-length SAT practice exams for free within the Gemini app. The exams use official test material from The Princeton Review, and users receive immediate feedback after completing the test.

“Helpful update for students, you can now take full practice SATs for free in the Gemini app. It uses vetted content from @ThePrincetonRev and gives you feedback straight away. Starting with the SAT today, but more tests are on the way,” Pichai noted.

“Available now, practice tests support the SAT to start, with more tests coming in the future,” said a Google statement.

The statement continued, “To ensure they prepare you for the actual exam, we have grounded practice tests in rigorously vetted content from leading education companies like The Princeton Review, to build a best in class experience for learners coming to Gemini. This helps ensure that you’re not just practicing — you’re preparing with material that more closely resembles what you’ll see on test day.”

How Gemini’s SAT Preparation Feature Works:

Students can start using the new SAT prep option by asking the chatbot to generate a practice SAT test.

Once prompted, Gemini produces a complete, full-length practice exam that can be taken directly within the app.

After the test is finished, the platform provides a detailed analysis of results by subject area, helping students understand what they are doing well and where they need improvement.

Learners can then dig deeper by asking questions about particular problems or requesting clear explanations for specific answers, much like a regular conversation with the assistant.

The aim is to help students pinpoint exact learning gaps:

According to Google, the aim is to help students pinpoint exact learning gaps and use that information to build a personalised study strategy that improves readiness and confidence before the actual exam.

The SAT update comes shortly after Google revealed that Gemini will also support Khan Academy’s Writing Coach, a feature focused on assisting students through the writing process rather than creating complete assignments for them.
