CMF by Nothing, the affordable sub-brand of Nothing, has entered the over-ear headphone segment in India with the launch of the CMF Headphone Pro. Priced at Rs 7,999, the headphones are available at an introductory launch price of Rs 6,999 for a limited period starting January 20, 2026. This marks CMF’s first foray into over-ear active noise-cancelling (ANC) headphones, highlighting modularity, long battery life, and intuitive tactile controls at a budget-friendly price point.
The CMF Headphone Pro stands out with its segment-leading battery performance, claiming up to 100 hours of playback with ANC turned off (at 50% volume using AAC codec) and up to 50 hours with ANC enabled. A quick 5-minute charge provides additional playback time, making it ideal for extended use without frequent recharges.
CMF Headphone Pro key features
The CMF Headphone Pro features 40mm drivers for rich sound, support for Hi-Res Audio via LDAC codec, and 40dB Hybrid Adaptive ANC to block out ambient noise effectively. A standout feature is the Energy Slider, a physical tactile control that lets users adjust bass and treble levels on the fly for personalised sound based on the track or preference. Additional controls include a roller dial for volume and track navigation, and a customisable button. The design highlights modularity with swappable ear cushions for easy customisation of look and comfort.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth with multipoint support, and the headphones come with intuitive physical buttons to reduce reliance on apps for basic operations.

The CMF Headphone Pro draws clear inspiration from Nothing’s flagship Nothing Headphone (1), launched in 2025 at a significantly higher price point of around Rs 21,999. While the flagship model offers premium build quality with a transparent design, slightly superior 45dB ANC, and advanced spatial audio features, the CMF Pro delivers comparable 40dB ANC performance, an identical 100-hour battery life (ANC off), and similar 40mm drivers with Hi-Res Audio support. The most notable differences lie in the CMF model’s focus on affordability, playful modularity (Energy Slider and swappable cushions), and a more budget-oriented construction, making it an attractive entry-level alternative that brings many of the flagship’s core strengths to a much wider audience.
Availability and colours
The CMF Headphone Pro will be available in three colours: Dark Grey, Light Green, and Light Grey. Sales begin on January 20, 2026, exclusively through Flipkart and select offline retail stores.
CMF promises a combination of good battery endurance, adaptive noise cancellation, Hi-Res audio support, and playful yet practical design elements like the Energy Slider and swappable cushions. The CMF Headphone Pro positions itself as a compelling option in the competitive budget over-ear ANC category. This launch further expands CMF’s growing audio portfolio in India, following the success of its earbuds lineup.
