Acer has announced the launch of its latest Chromebook models, the Acer Chromebook Plus 14 and Chromebook Plus 15, tailored to meet the needs of the enterprise and education sectors. These new laptops come equipped with the latest Google Gemini AI features, designed to enhance productivity, performance, and user experience.
The Acer Chromebook Plus 14 features a 14-inch Full HD IPS display, available with either a high-brightness Acer ComfyView LED-backlit TFT LCD or a multi-touch option. The Chromebook Plus 15 offers a larger 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display with Acer ComfyView technology, available in both standard and high-brightness touch variants.
Both models are powered by a range of Intel and AMD processors. The Chromebook Plus 14 is available with either an Intel Core i3-N305 processor or an AMD Ryzen 7000 series processor. The Chromebook Plus 15 is equipped with up to an Intel 13th Gen Core i7-1355U processor. All models support up to 16GB LPDDR5X SDRAM and storage options up to 512 GB PCIe NVMe SSD, ensuring efficient multitasking and ample storage.
These Chromebooks include built-in Google apps and AI capabilities, such as Google Photos Magic Eraser, File Sync, Wallpaper generation, AI-created video backgrounds, and Adobe Photoshop on the web. They feature Dual DTS Speakers, optimized for bass and treble response, and include two built-in microphones and a Full HD webcam with Temporal Noise Reduction, High Dynamic Range (HDR), and support for 1080p video at 60 fps.
The Chromebook Plus models also support the latest Wireless Wi-Fi 6E for fast wireless connectivity and Bluetooth 5.3 for seamless accessory pairing. Security features include a discrete H1 Trusted Platform Module (TPM) solution, camera shutters, and Kensington lock slots. The laptops have passed rigorous military-grade reliability tests for mechanical shock, transit drop, vibration, sand, dust, humidity, and extreme temperatures.
Battery performance includes a 53 Wh 3-cell Li-ion battery, with the Chromebook Plus 14 offering up to 11 hours of battery life and the Chromebook Plus 15 up to 10 hours on a single charge.
The Acer Chromebook Plus 14 and Chromebook Plus 15 are priced starting at Rs 35,990. These models will be available at Acer exclusive stores, the Acer online store, Amazon, Croma, Flipkart, Vijay Sales, and other multi-brand outlets.
