Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and his wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, have reportedly expanded their Alibaug estate. The couple have acquired a large land parcel at the cost of Rs 37 crore in the Raigad district, located neatly at the coast. With documents accessed by CRE Matrix, a real estate firm, the sale deed was registered on January 13.
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s Alibaug estate now includes two adjoining plots located at Village Zirad, Gat 157-158, in the Raigad District of Alibaug. This comes as an addition to their Rs 19 crore land, which they acquired in the beachside getaway in 2022.
5 acres, 21,00 sq metres for Rs 38 crore
The newest real estate addition, secured by the celebrity couple, which primarily resides in the UK, secured 21,000 sq metres of land in Alibaug. The deal is reportedly backed by a stamp duty of Rs 2.27 crore, as per CRE Matrix, as quoted in a Business Standard report. This marks a huge shift in celebrity trends, opting for real estate deals in offbeat locations.
In fact, in September 2025, Tu Meri Main Tera actor Kartik Aaryan made a lavish purchase of Rs 2 crore land at Chateau de Alibaug, too. Spanning across 2000 sq feet, it stood near Amitabh Bachchan’s 10,000 q feet worth Rs 10 crore, nearby. Bollywood’s billionaire Shah Rukh Khan also famously owns a party getaway in the beachside escape near Mumbai.
Inside Virat Kohli-Anushka Sharma’s Alibaug house
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma‘s 10,000 square feet villa was purchased in 2022. Spanning across 8 acres, it is the perfect blend of modern design and earthy notes. Reportedly acquired for Rs 19 crore, it is currently valued at Rs 32 crore.
It has been designed in a peculiar California-Konkan style architecture by Philippe Fouche. The 4 bedrooms with double-height ceilings are best complemented with natural wood floors. There are certain sections with Italian marbles, raw travertines, Turkish limestones, pristine stones, and a powder room in pink onyx.
Best suiting their lavish lifestyle, the house also has a temperature-controlled pool, a jacuzzi, and a sprawling garden with lush greenery. The al-fresco dining space is the highlight of the house, with circadian lighting and several automated fittings. The wood-marble combo is expressed in this tech-savvy house, which blends the needs of the couple seamlessly.
