Everyone knows Badshah loves his watches, but he recently took things to a whole new level. He became the first person in India to own the super-rare Rolex ‘Barbie’ Daytona. This isn’t a watch you can just walk into a store and buy. There are only 10 of these watches in the entire world, making this a huge moment for fans and collectors who follow his style.

How did he get hooked on watches?

In a recent chat on the show Curly Tales, Badshah talked about how his interest in watches grew over time. He surprised many by saying he doesn’t actually own a giant pile of watches. Instead, he has about 10 to 15 special pieces. For him, it’s not just about having something expensive on his wrist to show off. He’s genuinely fascinated by how they are made. He finds the “art” and the skill behind these watches much more exciting than the price tag.

A dream to become a watchmaker

Badshah has so much respect for the people who make these watches that he once thought about moving to Switzerland to learn the craft himself. He shared how some of the best watchmakers only finish 10 watches in a single year. These aren’t like regular battery watches; they are purely mechanical and made by hand. He’s amazed that people spend their whole lives perfecting this one skill, and that’s why he values them so much.

The watch he loves the most

When asked about his favourite, he picked the Greubel Forsey GMT Balancier Convexe. This watch is incredibly detailed and made completely by hand. It has nearly 700 tiny parts inside, and it takes about eight months just to build one. Because of all that effort, this watch is the one closest to his heart.

What makes it so special?

The coolest thing about this watch is a tiny, 3D model of the Earth right in the middle. This little globe actually spins in real-time. It shows the time in different parts of the world and even tells you if it’s day or night there. It’s also built to keep perfect time for three days straight without needing to be wound up again.

Design and a big price tag

Even though it has a lot of complicated parts, the watch is made of titanium so it feels light and comfortable to wear. It’s built to fit the wrist perfectly and looks very bold. With a price tag of around Rs 3.89 crore, it’s easily one of the fanciest watches in the world. For Badshah, it’s not just a piece of jewelry,it’s a way to appreciate true art and hard work.
