Shark Tank Season 5 Aman Gupta: Aman Gupta, the millionaire businessman behind one of India’s leading audio providers, boAt, has shot to fame since his appearance as an investor on Shark Tank. However, with a net worth of over Rs 700 crore, Gupta built boAt from the ground up. Co-founded in 2016, he is the primary stakeholder in the business.
Aman Gupta on Shark Tank also boasts investments worth more than Rs 1000 crore as an angel, with the latest season adding further fluff. Interestingly, as per reports on the earlier seasons of the show, it was found that Aman Gupta charged nearly Rs 9 lakh per episode, apart from the revenue they would earn on their investments. However, former Shark Tank judge and founder of BharatPe, Ashneer Grover, revealed that the investors used the platform as a brand exposure method, rather than charging a per-episode fee. However, some speculations pointed at the Rs 10 lakh figure for the more recent seasons.
