Arjun Tendulkar, son of the legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, is set to get married later this year. Getting engaged to long-time partner, Saaniya, the couple has even invited PM Modi to the humble affair. What started as a spotlight love story quickly bloomed in the shadows before they decided to take the big step.
Arjun, a domestic cricketer, is set to feature in this year’s Indian Premier League 2026. Playing for the Lucknow Super Giants, all eyes will be on the young emerging star with a legacy name he can never leave behind. However, bride-to-be and Sachin Tedulkar’s future daughter-in-law, Saaniya Chandok, maintains a rather private lifestyle. Entrepreneur, veterinary technician, and more, Chandok also comes from a business family, headed by Ravi Ghai.
Who is Saaniya Chandok?
Born in Mumbai, Saaniya hails from a business family that owns Graviss Hospitality Limited. Dealing in premium hospitality, the firm also manages brands like InterContinental hotels, Brooklyn Creamery, and Kwality Ice Cream under Graviss Food Solutions.
However, Chandok did not join her family business. Choosing to be an entrepreneur, she went on to study at the London School of Economics in 2020, after completing a Veterinary Technician Course in practical animal care. Her background helped her launch ‘Mr Paws Pet Spa and Store LLP’ in Mumbai in 2022.
Opening doors to an innovative solution of grooming services, Saaniya became one of India’s pet care revolutionaries. With a reported net worth of more than $100,000, her bond with the Tendulkars ran way before her love story sparked with Arjun.
The couple broke the internet on August 13, 2025, when they shared glimpses of their engagement. Several photos from the intimate ceremony reached online. It was just the families and their friends, with no extravagant decor or setup.
With the wedding scheduled in March 2026, it was reported that Sachin Tendulkar personally invited PM Modi and Rahul Gandhi for his son’s nuptials. President Droupadi Murmu and Home Minister Amit Shah are also invited.
